Animals of San Diego, and the other things we did

We couldn't pass up another chance to eat the most heavenly brunch ever yet again.

My pancake flight - cinnamon roll pancake, sweet potato pancake, blueberry pancake (all gluten free) along with my Palomimosa, and the hubs' taco and green chile eggs Benedict.

Then we drove to La Jolla to see the sea lions.

As a media teacher, I had to take some videos to capture just how cute they were.

The next day, the hubs and I went for a early morning run along the San Diego bay and saw lots of beautiful and interest things (and people).

As seen on our run...

San Diego had some really cool fountains

And some really cool Lion King-y trees against SD's beautiful skyline.

We stayed really close to where the Padres play.

The following day, we went on a whale watching boat tour where we first saw lots of dolphins.

And again, the videographer in me had to record how adorable the dolphins were. They had such fun personalities. The tour guides said that the dolphins often get excited and like to play with the boats. I couldn't get enough of them! I almost forgot that I was whale watching and just thought about watching the dolphins!

The animals were seriously too cute.

We took a tour of the USS Midway, which was amazingly interesting.

We also couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to the San Diego Zoo.

The best place to see God's talent and creativity is at a zoo.

One night, we also went to the Pier Cafe to watch the sun set across the ocean. Again, the best place to see God's talent and creativity is watching the sunset on the ocean.

And this is how we watched the Holiday Bowl.

The last detail of our amazing trip to San Diego was that our last hotel (we stayed at FOUR) had an awesome fire pit with it's own private beach!

San Diego was so incredible! It was the perfect combination of busy and relaxing. If you ever have the chance to visit San Diego, be sure you do it! The Lord truly shows His goodness in so many places in San Diego! I can't wait to go back!
