Baby G: 28 Week Update

How far along: 28 weeks! Hello, third trimester!

Total weight gain: Maybe around 12 pounds? I haven't weighed myself but I think the baby has hit a growth spurt because I get really HUNGRY.
Maternity clothes: Yep, lovin' them!

Sleep: I'm still waking up a couple times to go to the bathroom, but other than that I'm still sleeping really well!
Miss anything: Sleeping on my back... although I still do sometimes :)
Movement: The baby can get super crazy sometimes! He's started kicking back when we push on him :) In fairness, he kicks first and we nudge him to see if he'll respond, so it's not like we're already participating in child abuse :)
Food cravings: Fruit still always sounds good, but this week I was super lucky becase I came across an AMAZING gluten free brownie! I've wanted a brownie for about four weeks now, but after eating two this week, my craving has been fulfilled :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, but three times this week my blood sugar has crashed really quickly nearly making me sick. Thankfully I don't go anywhere without food so I've been able to eat and feel better before too long, but it's scary! At one point I went from totally normal to complete brain fog within 3 minutes.
Have you started to show yet: Yep :) My bathing suit is fitting a little differently while on our babymoon :) This is the first time I've had 100% confidence in my bathing suit :)
Gender: We're having a little BOY! In case you're new to the blog :)
Wedding rings on or off: Still on!
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy or crying

What else happened this week:
3D/4D sonogram - we had an appointment for a 3D/4D sonogram this week and it was AMAZING! 'The sonographer said that it's hard to get good pictures of babies because the conditions need to be just right (proper amount of fluid in front of the baby's face and other uncontrollable things) but we were blessed with great and clear pictures of our baby! Even the sonographer was impressed!

Park City - we also took our babymoon to Park City, UT! It was the perfect combination of active and relaxing. We slept in each morning and got in bed early each night, but in between we did light activities like walking around downtown, going for a run on a nearby running trail, going to the movies, exploring Salt Lake City, etc. It was perfect!

Looking forward to: My next appointment in a couple of weeks. It's always nice to hear that the baby is doing well. We're also about to get our new carpet installed which will be the next big check on the to-do list!

Exercise: I only ran a couple of times this week and didn't hit my weekly goal of 10 miles. The first run of the week was so uncomfortable (mainly because I forgot my belly support belt) that running 1 mile was a chore. But during our run in Park City running felt better... still not great, but better. I walked as needed then started back up again. So up to this point, the baby and I have exercised 469.87 miles!
